CHEMICAL AXIAL FLOW PUMPS

Axial Flow Pumps

TimeRolling’s chemical axial flow pumps are designed for forced-circulation applications in evaporation systems. Two structural configurations are available to accommodate different installation and maintenance requirements.

Structural Configurations

Ground-Supported Design

This configuration features axial suction and radial discharge. For easy maintenance, the impeller, pump cover and bearing housing can be withdrawn from the pump casing as a complete assembly, without disconnecting the suction or discharge piping.

Semi-Suspended Design

In this configuration, the pump section is supported by the piping, while the motor is mounted on the ground. A front-opening design helps reduce the weight of the pipe-supported assembly.

Design features

  • Impeller Clearance Adjustment

The clearance between the impeller and its housing can be adjusted according to the actual impeller position. This helps maintain optimal running clearance and improve pump efficiency.

  • Shaft Sealing Options

Two shaft sealing arrangements are available: a double-acting packed stuffing box with separate packing seals for operation and shutdown, or a double mechanical seal assembly designed for convenient installation and removal.

  • Bearing Lubrication and Cooling

The bearings are oil-lubricated, with an oil-cooling system to help control lubricant temperature and maintain suitable bearing operating conditions.

  • Performance Adjustment

Pump performance can be adjusted by changing the impeller blade setting angle and rotational speed to meet specific process requirements and suit different evaporation systems.
